Dear Children and Parents,

And they were bringing children to Him that He might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, He was indignant and said to them:

Let the children come to Me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.

And He took them in His arms and blessed them.

How precious are children to Jesus! And so we have ministries here at Beautiful Savior which are geared specifically towards children. As Jesus says, “It is for such as these that the Kingdom of God belongs!”

Christian education is very important to us here at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. We understand that as we learn what God teaches us, we grow closer to Him and stronger in faith and Spirit! These teachings help us in this life, and even more-so, they teach us the promises of the life to come! It’s never to early to learn! We encourage ALL peoples, regardless of age, to GROW in the Lord!

OUR SPECIAL KIDS EVENTS EACH MONTH

BEGINNING OCTOBER 7th this year, we have three youth groups that meet here monthly, having fun as we build friendships and encourage & teach Christian values, helping each other be the people God wants us to be. ((All activities are hosted & supervised by Christian adult members of our church.))

  • JESUS FREAKS (13, 14-18 years of age)

    This group meets here on the first Friday of each month, from 6-9 PM, to enjoy some Christian fellowship. Whether we engage in Bible study, a friendly game of cards (or Guitar Hero), paint a bus, or watch a movie and participate in open, informal discussion over pizza or chips, we always have a great time together, building friendships with people who love Jesus!

  • KFC, or “Kids For Christ” (kids 7-12 years of age)

    This group meets here on the second Friday of each month, from 6-8 PM. We share in some Bible stories, Bible trivia, games, snacks, and/ or air hockey! Sometimes we even do arts and crafts ~ each gathering is different, but it’s always God-centered and fun!

  • Littles & Bigs (children 0-18, & Mommies)

    Younger children are invited on the Saturday morning after KFC each month for some good old fashioned Saturday morning fun and play, from 10 AM- 12 PM (noon). We will learn about our God through a Bible story and simple craft, enjoy a small brunch, playtime together, and cartoon fun! We show the wonderful claymation series of Davey and Goliath which teaches Christian values, as well as other child-friendly cartoons like Fat Albert, Scooby Doo and Underdog! FUN!

These Events are provided and sponsored by Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church and are supervised by Jackie Y. with the help and support of Pastor AJ, Allison, and Brian, all of whom are adult Christian members of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our Sunday School lessons at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church are taken from the Old and New Testament of the Bible to help the children learn about God and their Savior, Jesus Christ. The Concordia Publishing House lesson materials are interactive to help the children understand what God is telling them.

Children ages 3 thru high school are invited and encouraged to attend. Bring your children and we will lovingly nourish them with God’s Word.

Our Sunday School teachers are adult members of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.
